Ishan Kishan’s Absence Raises Questions: Chemical tried so hard to regain the former popularity of its hero upon the public, fans demanded him back.
Ishan Kishan was in serious demand during the ongoing series as fans wanted him back in the team and this was evident on Thursday when #BringBackIshanKishan was in trend, especially before the start of the second round of the Duleep Trophy. The talented wicketkeeper-batter was no where to be seen after a decent performance revival in the red-ball cricket. IShan Kishan opened his account ahead of the national under-19 team in the Buchi Babu Invitational tournament for the jharkhand cricket association after a century.
First included in the side for the Duleep Trophy as part of the India D team, Kishan’s ill timed left groin injury he sustained during the Buchi Babu tournament precluded him from the first round of the Duleep Trophy. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released a statement in which they said that Ishan Kishan is recovering and was under the supervision of the BCCI Medical Team but they expected him to come back for the second round.
In D squad for India, Samson was named as the replacement to Ishan Kishan. However, after BCCI released the new players’ list of both teams after the end of India vs Bangladesh first Test match, Ishan Kishan was again not added, which disappointed and baffled the fans.
Audience started getting concerned over Ishan Kishan’s health status and the possibility that things are not going well as they expected. However, no changes in the latest BCCI media release just ignited more discussion regarding the possibility of when Ishan Kishan would be able to get back into the playing arena.
