Canada vs Nepal Canada Win The Game by 103 Runs
Canada’s skipper Nicholas Kirton played a standout innings, smashing 73 off just 44 deliveries, while Dillon Heyliger’s 5-34 performance led them to a huge 103-run victory over Nepal. Heyliger also contributed a handy 30, with two sixes and four fours, helping Canada set a solid target of 253/8. Despite a valiant effort, Nepal was all out for 150 in 41 overs.
Canada was put in to bat first, and opener Navneet Shaliwal anchored the innings with a solid start. He formed a 42-run partnership with Pargat Singh and another 54-run stand with Harsh Thaker, taking the score past 100. Shaliwal was dismissed just two runs short of a half-century. Kirton then took over, and despite losing two partners quickly, he accelerated the scoring rate. Heyliger played a key role, particularly in the last ten overs, adding 39 runs in a stand with Kirton, who scored 52 off just 22 balls.
Heyliger’s outstanding bowling dismantled Nepal’s top-order, leaving them at 51/4 in 15 overs. Nepal’s middle order struggled as well, and despite some late resistance from Karan KC, who scored 27 with two sixes and four fours, Nepal was bowled out for 150.
